08.2008 Keri was on location in Los Angeles for the feature film, Lost Angels, currently in post production. Keri played the lead role of Samantha.
07.2008 Keri was cast as Mary Jane Hanrahan, a lead in the play Jesus Hopped the A Train by Stephen Adly Guirgis to be directed by Bob Carter. The opening date is set for late Fall.
07.2008 Skip and Bud, a short film in which Keri acted, co-wrote and edited, was officially selected and screened at the Provincetown Film Festival and the Tampa International Gay and Lesbian Film Festival.
06.2008 Keri played the lead in a provocative short dramatic film, The Other Woman, screened at the Delray Beach Film Festival.
05.2008 December, an independent feature film from Four Star Productions out of Tampa, features Keri playing the supporting role of Beth. The film is almost complete and will be ready for screening in Fall 2008.
04.2008 Director Garry Messick’s film, Gone, was screened at the Voices of Local Film in Palm Beach. Keri played two leading roles in this avant-garde indie drama, including Darlene, a bubbly administrative assistant and Madame X, an eccentric Russian psychic. Subsequently, a spin off script was written specifically for Keri’s portrayal entitled, Madame X, to be shot in the Fall of 2008.
03.2008 Keri performed a one-hour set of monologues and scenes at the Cuillo Centre for the Arts in West Palm Beach under the direction of Bob Carter
02.2008 The Green Glass, a short film directed by Christopher Swank http://www.swankfilms.net/movies/movie_the_green_GLASS.html and co-written by Keri Lurtz and Rekha Shaikh from the original story/screenplay written by Joseph C-W Hodges, was chosen as an official selection at the following film festivals: First Take Film Festival, New York Filmmakers Film Festival and the Delray Beach Film Festival where it won the Audience Award. Keri stars as Rae, the loving and resilient Southern mother of a young mute boy who finds a green glass that leads him on a journey though his past.
02.2008 Keri starred in two independent films, Anakin written and directed by Jay Mogavero and Life is Lemonade written and directed by Agnes Farkas. Both films are still in post-production.
01.2008 Straightaway Movies began production of their feature film in Miami, Wild Sunflowers. Keri was cast as one of the four leading roles.
